Reminder: You are required to run the Flowmaster Part # 54033-12 muffler, #350-400 y-pipe, #MB400 90* PIPE, OR equivalent, with a Super Trapp. This system is available from Ryan Philpott at (209) 607-8548 or Phil Perry at (916) 408-4718.


Vendor
Pacific Motorsports will be returning in 2008 as the vendor for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series competition at Altamont Raceway. Pacific Motorsports will be the official supplier of all Hoosier race tires for the season. Contact Ryan Philpott at (209) 607-8458 to get information on purchasing tires.
2008 Driver Licensing and Registration
Please note that NASCAR licenses must be purchased PRIOR to season's first event. Competitors may call Jeff Macey at (530) 846-4545 to expedite this process.

Licenses
All drivers must hold a current,
recognized competition license or competition permit. Altamont Raceway recognizes the following sanctioning licenses: NASCAR, USAC, BCRA, CASA, NCMA, SCCA, NASA, Legends-600 Racing, AMA & AFM (for motorcycle testing only), SRL, WestCar, NOPI, IDCR, and D-1. Other organizations may submit qualifications for written approval from Altamont Raceway. Anyone not having an approved competition license may apply for a 2007 Altamont Raceway Competition Permit ($50), valid for all 2007 open test dates and specified events held at Altamont Raceway. Competition license requirements for motorsports events held at Altamont Raceway are up to the event organizer and/or sanctioning body. Any situation where an unpaid or unauthorized driver is found on the track will
result in that car being unable to test at AMP for six (6) months from
the date of the infraction.
Driver & Vehicle Safety
All drivers testing or competing at Altamont Raceway must have minimum safety equipment. All vehicles testing or competing at Altamont Raceway must meet minimum safety and operational standards. Contact AMP for details. Track management reserves the right to refuse access to or use of the facility or track(s) by any person.
Transponders
Transponders will be used on all vehicles competing at Altamont Raceway. Drivers who do not own transponders will be able to rent them on site. Transponders also will be available at the track for purchase.
RV Parking
RV and Motorhome parking is available for competitors ONLY at Altamont Raceway. Race-day parking is available in two places, as indicated on this aerial view. Overnight RV and Motorhome parking for competitors is limited to specific events, which Altamont Raceway will announce. Please contact the track office or General Manager Jeff Macey with any questions.
