Altamont Motorsports Park's Oval Tracks include the 1/2-mile paved oval ("The fastest 1/2-mile in the West!") and the 1/4-mile paved oval.
Open Track Testing
Altamont Motorsports Park will host oval track testing on Saturday March 22nd and Saturday August 23rd.These will be the only oval testing dates in 2008, subject to change.
These oval testing days will be open to Altamont Motorsports Park divisions only. Any NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, NASCAR Camping World Series West, USAC, NCMA Limited Sprint, Westcar, SRL, North State Challenge, Legend, Enduo, Lemons, or Formula-4 car is eligible to test.
These testing days will also be mandatory for all Future Champions Development Series competitors.
Cost
Costs include all crew members with team.
NASCAR Grand National: $400
All other Altamont classes: $125
Formula-4: $75
